Gillian & James’ wedding at Billings Estate Manor was one of the most memorable weddings we’ve had so far. The reason I say this is purely from an emotional perspective. Our journey with them was exactly what we had hoped! After a lengthy Skype call from their Vancouver home, we instantly knew we would get along just fine. We shared a few laughs and got to know each other during this time. Something we like to do with all the couples we meet as we find it so important to establish a great connection from the start. It’s a great way for people to see what we’re about and for them to get a feel for our personalities. We want everyone to walk away with the warm and fuzzies! Their laid back approach set the tone for what would be an epic day, from the ambiance, to the simplicity of their details. It wasn’t overdone by any stretch and was just an absolute pleasure to be a part of. It was easy for us to see on their wedding day just how much of an impact they have on their friends and loved ones simply by observing their interactions with them. Pretty awesome stuff!

Aside from the mushy stuff we just described, the location is just a perfect fit. If you are planning on having your wedding at Billings Estate Manor, we highly recommend it. The heritage building has amazing light in most of the rooms, making it easy to get outstanding photos no matter where you are. The grounds offer some great settings for formal photos offering tons of greenery. It’s amazing that this place exists in the middle of suburbia as it’s a true gem!

We hope you enjoy their photos!
