Kristin and Bruce did the thing this past September and had their wedding at ambroisie in Montreal. It's a very unique venue that offers such interesting decor and provided us with a really fun backdrop the entire evening. Really awesome place that we highly recommend if you want something different and a little more on the industrial side.
Brittany & Michael's Strathmere wedding was one that we were particularly looking forward to. After spending some time together during their engagement session, it became instantly clear how sweet, warm and personable they were. This early stage in our relationship set the tone for what would be an incredible progression in our journey together.
Weddings are just so damn fun. We're reminded of this every time we pack up at the end of each wedding night
This was especially true for Jesse & Michael's wedding at ALE (Amberwood Lounge & Eatery). It also happened to be our first same sex wedding. Something we had been looking forward to photograph for a long time. As an inclusive business, it was such a privilege. In some weird way, it seems fate always saves our best weddings for the last of the season.
Kayla & Ivan's outdoor wedding at Auberge des Galant was pretty awesome! When we pulled up to the parking lot our jaws dropped at the stunning scenery and rustic feel of the Auberge.
Princess Louise Falls is one of Ottawa's best hidden gems. It offers a unique location and endless possibilities for incredible engagement photos! One would think that a location like this would lay deep in rural wooded areas, but in fact, it is just meters from St-Joseph road in Orleans. That's pretty awesome for us as we live just a few km from there.
Gillian & James' wedding at Billings Estate Manor was one of the most memorable weddings we've had so far. The reason I say this is purely from an emotional perspective. Our journey with them was exactly what we had hoped! After a lengthy Skype call from their Vancouver home, we instantly knew we would get along just fine. We shared a few laughs and got to know each other during this time. Something we like to do with all the couples we meet as we find it so important to establish a great connection from the start. It's a great way for people to see what we're about and for them to get a feel for our personalities. We want everyone to walk away with the warm and fuzzies!
