bride and groom walking during their wedding at evermore

Haley + Scott | Wedding at Evermore

Haley & Scott’s wedding at Evermore left us in speechless. It was a day filled with emotion, the tenderest of moments and high fives all in the most beautiful of settings.  We leave every wedding with at least one of two stories to recount.  But there were so many more on this day.  Their group of friends and family were hilarious, caring and went out of their way for us.  As a result, we felt right at home amongst them.

Every detail from their wedding was perfect.  We wouldn’t expect less from a wedding at Evermore.  The food was great as usual, DJ Acie killed it with the dance floor and kept it going all night long.  If there is a DJ that knows how to read a crowd, it’s this guy.  Click here to check him out.

We were fortunate to have met these lovely souls at a wedding we did for Scott’s best friend the year before and were so appreciative of their trust to photograph their wedding.

The one huge takeaway we left with from this wedding is how valuable friendship is.  This was one tight knit group!  It was fascinating to see the dynamics between them knowing they had all known each other for such a long period of time.  They were like a family more than anything else and it was truly a pleasure and honour to document the whole thing.

Evermore is a wedding photographer’s delight.  Let’s just say there isn’t much that’s left to be desired here.  With fantastic staff, an elegant rustic barn style venue, it really is one of the best venues in our opinion.  Have a look for yourself over here.  If you’re looking for other venue options with a rustic feel, check out Sierra & Spencer’s wedding at Strathmere.  It’s also quite lovely. 🙂

Enjoy their slideshow!

Sierra + Spencer | Wedding at Strathmere

Our journey with Sierra & Spencer started what seems like moons ago. They reached out to us in the early stages of planning their wedding at Strathmere while both attending university in Toronto and it became quite apparent from our initial consult how sweet and genuine they both were.

Kristen + Bruce | Wedding at Ambroisie

Kristin and Bruce did the thing this past September and had their wedding at ambroisie in Montreal.   It’s a very unique venue that offers such interesting decor and provided us with a really fun backdrop the entire evening.  Really awesome place that we highly recommend if you want something different and a little more on the industrial side.

Brittany + Michael | Wedding at the Strathmere Inn

Brittany & Michael’s Strathmere wedding was one that we were particularly looking forward to.  After spending some time together during their engagement session, it became instantly clear how sweet, warm and personable they were.  This early stage in our relationship set the tone for what would be  an incredible progression in our journey together.

Jesse + Michael | Wedding at ALE

Weddings are just so damn fun. We’re reminded of this every time we pack up at the end of each wedding night

This was especially true for Jesse & Michael’s wedding at ALE (Amberwood Lounge & Eatery).  It also happened to be our first same sex wedding.  Something we had been looking forward to photograph for a long time.  As an inclusive business, it was such a privilege.  In some weird way, it seems fate always saves our best weddings for the last of the season.

Gillian + James | Wedding at Billings Estate Manor

Gillian & James’ wedding at Billings Estate Manor was one of the most memorable weddings we’ve had so far. The reason I say this is purely from an emotional perspective. Our journey with them was exactly what we had hoped! After a lengthy Skype call from their Vancouver home, we instantly knew we would get along just fine. We shared a few laughs and got to know each other during this time. Something we like to do with all the couples we meet as we find it so important to establish a great connection from the start. It’s a great way for people to see what we’re about and for them to get a feel for our personalities. We want everyone to walk away with the warm and fuzzies!
